Why this exists

Most traffic-analytics tools answer “how popular is this website?”. That is not the most useful question if you are trying to figure out where revenue is actually being generated online. The popular sites in any category are usually platforms or aggregators — not the operators making money.

We started from the opposite end. Identify the payment surfaces on the open web, look at who routes traffic into them, and assemble the list. Once a month, the directory replaces itself with the current snapshot. That is the product.
